‘Digimon Adventure Tri’ Reunion: Izzy And Mimi Will Turn Out As Lovers In Later Episodes ?

The 15th year offering of "Digimon Adventure Tri" series is making noise, particularly it the latest episodes.

"Digimon Adventure Tri Reunion" has been the talk of the town as the characters are now teenagers and possibly developing romantic feelings for each other.

Lately, Izzy and Mimi's romance began to circulate all over the Internet. Although both characters were just shadowing the others in the previous installments, their romance in the show definitely contributed to the ratings.

According to Kotaku 's report, while Mimi is spending several years in America, the communication with Izzy hasn't stop.

On the other hand, the love triangle between Matt, Tai, and Sora is also adding more spice to the show.

T.K and Kari, though the youngest in the group, are also said to be popular with the opposite sex, which opens up opportunity for possible storylines that can be explored.

The "Digimon Adventure Tri Reunion" is undoubtedly a hit. As a matter of fact, in just two days, the series was a blockbuster in Japan with over 36,000 tickets sold, generating about $480,000 USD.

"Instead of the original three weeks of releasing the series, the film continued to play due to its high demand," Anime New Network reported. "As of Jan. 4, the film old 146,671 tickets in just 10 theaters for a total of 229 million yen, about $1.95 million USD."

Though "Digimon Adventure Tri" is known for its action-packed scenes, fans couldn't hide the fact that they are also hooked with Izzy and Mimi's love story, as well as the blossoming romance of the other characters in the show.

Crunchyroll is now streaming the first four episodes of "Digimon Adventure Tri Reunion" for United States, Canada, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, and Latin America. The second film is said to be released in Japan on March 12.
