Jimmy Fallon Pokes Fun At Donald Trump For Finishing Second At The Iowa
Jimmy Fallon taunted Republican Presidential candidate Donald Trump on the Wednesday night's episode of "The Tonight Show."
The talk show host delivered a Trump impression while teasing the billionaire for his surprising second place finish at the Iowa caucuses.
"I'm here tonight because the people of Iowa have wisely named me the winner and champion of second place," said Fallon as Trump at a press conference, according to Rolling Stone.
"It's just like children say: 'First is the worst, second is the best, third is the one with the hairy chest.' Marco Rubio, get that taken care of. You wouldn't want your hair to make you look ridiculous."
Republican Presidential candidate Donald Trump has been a frontrunner in the polls for months. But he only finished second in the Iowa Caucuses after Senator Ted Cruz of Texas.
Cruz won by receiving 28 percent of the net vote while the property developer stood second with 24 percent votes. Donald Trump, meanwhile, considered his second place finish as a moral victory.
Fallon impersonated Trump on his show and mocked his claim that his second finish at Monday's Iowa caucuses is a victory for his campaign.
Jimmy Fallon's speech mimicking Donald Trump revolved around the idea that second place is better than first.
"Two is bigger than one. One plus one is two - so basically, I won twice," stated Fallon's Trump, as reported by Entertainment Weekly.
In support of his statement, Fallon gave examples where two is better than one, including "Toy Story 2" (clearly the superior movie), "R2D2" (as no one has ever heard of R1D1), twin contestants on "The Bachelor" (four boobs) and two-eyed Minions cuter than the one-eyed minions.
Jimmy Fallon's Donald Trump character closed his comment by saying he was proud to lose in Iowa.
"From now on, when you think Donald Trump, I want you to think huge No. 2," said Fallon, noted International business times.
