Melissa McCarthy Highlights Weight Loss With New ‘Do; ‘Spy’ Star Gorgeous With Lob
Melissa McCarthy was the talk of Hollywood when she flaunted her fit figure following a tight weight loss regimen. Now, the "Ghostbuster" star is making waves again with her new short hair.
The 45-year-old actress was recently spotted flaunting a lob, courtesy of celebrity hairstylist Renato Campora. He has also worked with other famous Hollywood stars like January Jones, Kate Winslet and Jessica Chastain.
"On set with the funniest @melissamccarthy looking amazing after #cutting her #hair couple of inches off. Loving the texture," said Campora's caption of a photo posted on his Instagram account.

The long bob hairstyle is getting a lot of attention lately, especially among Hollywood A-listers.
According to Today, Rihanna also sported the same hair-do when she recently guested on "Ellen."
Apart from Melissa McCarthy's weight loss, the actress also made it to the news recently following her revelation that she was snubbed in the upcoming reboot of "Gilmore Girls."
Per Us Weekly, Netflix confirmed that Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel will be reprising their respective roles in the upcoming revival of the television series.
McCarthy, however, was reportedly not tapped to reprise the role of her lovable character, Sookie St. James.
In a post on her official Twitter account, the "Mike and Molly" star wrote, "Thanks for the invite, but sadly no one asked me or Sookie to come back to Stars Hollow. Wish them all the best."
When the social media got wind up of McCarthy's new hair style, speculations that the actress is set to reprise her iconic role in the "Gilmore Girls" reboot began surfacing. Sookie, after all, sported a short hair which is hauntingly similar to the current hairdo of the "Ghostbuster" star.
Whether the reprisal of her "Gilmore Girls" role is true or not, devoted fans of the comedienne are still happy that the year has been good to the actress despite recent hurdles.
Amid Melissa McCarthy's successful weight loss journey, many were shocked when CBS decided to cancel "Mike and Molly" where the comedienne plays the role of the lovable Molly Flynn.
