Dave Franco And Alison Brie Wedding Cancelled? Former Shares Cancer Story!
Dave Franco and Alison Brie have been making the headlines as of late due to the development in their love story. The long-time couple was reported to have gotten engaged, but now, reports say they're delaying the wedding plans.
During the premiere of Brie's latest movie with Dakota Johnson entitled "How to Be Single," the starlet revealed that she and her fiancé haven't started wedding planning yet.
"I think we're both just sort of in an intense thing. We're so busy," Brie said, who is also set to appear in "Get A Job" with Miles Teller and Anna Kendrick this year.
"We're very mellow about the whole thing," she added of her engagement with James Franco's younger brother. "We're like it's gonna happen we'll figure it out. We'll get there!"
While her statement was clear, fans couldn't help but speculate whether the wedding is really set to happen eventually, or has been cancelled altogether.
While Alison Brie is busy promoting her film, Dave Franco recently wrote a piece for People Magazine, telling the story of his best friend, Brian Rozelle, who died in April 2015 of cancer.
"I've thought about him every single day since, but rarely in a way that makes me feel sad ... he wouldn't want that," Franco said. "He was the poster boy of positivity and never asked for pity or sympathy."
"One thing Brian said that will always stick with me is that the final few years of his life, the years in which he was battling cancer, were the best years of his life," he added.
In the article, the "Now You See Me 2" actor described how Rozelle influenced him to support "Cycle for Survival," a fund-raising movement for rare cancer research (Rozelle had bile duct cancer).
"He said, 'Even if [Cycle for Survival] doesn't save my life, it will for sure save future generations.' That's who Brian was," the actor said of his best friend since middle school. "He wanted everyone to love life as much as he did. He didn't want anyone to suffer."
Alison Brie and Dave Franco have been known to be dating for about four years now.
