'The Conjuring 2: Enfield Poltergeist' Plot Promises To Be Scarier Than First Movie; Warrens To Fight Demons In London
James Wan's 2013 masterpiece "The Conjuring" will soon return to the big screen once again as the June release of the second chapter, "The Conjuring 2: Enfield Poltergeist," draws near.
Fans are anticipating that "The Conjuring 2: Enfield Poltergeist's" plot would match, if not surpass, the tension in the first movie. Wan has developed quite a reputation for being one of the rising masters of the horror genre.
Initial reports claimed that the upcoming "The Conjuring 2: Enfield Poltergeist" will promise more nerve-racking scenes as true-to-life demonologists, Ed and Lorraine Warren, join the story's bloody roller-coaster ghost-hunting ride.
Just like in the first movie, Ed and Lorraine Warren will be played by Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga. As for the plot's highlight, the two demonologists will look after another family with a little girl who will be targeted by a demon.
"The Conjuring" was a true-to-life movie based on the Warrens who started the New England Society for Psychic Research back in 1952.
The plot summary for "The Conjuring 2: Enfield Poltergeist" reveals that Ed and Lorraine Warren will be investigating one unusual incident that occurred in Brimsdown, Enfield, located in London between the years 1977 and 1979 where two girls were being haunted by a demon-like entity, according to Geek.
The site added, "There were moving chairs, a demonic voice, and supposedly levitation of the children. The only problem is that any quick Google search of the Enfield Poltergeist will reveal that it was most likely a prank played by the very two girls that were supposed to be haunted."
"The Conjuring 2: Enfield Poltergeist" will likely follow the overall tone of the first movie as the plot hinted about the Warrens instaling cameras in every corner that will provide plenty of opportunity for Wan to create scary jumps and heart-pounding scenes.
