'Five Nights At Freddy's' Movie To Be Helmed By 'Poltergeist' Director; Release Date Set This Year?

There have been a lot of rumors circulating around the much anticipated "Five Nights at Freddy's" movie, especially the about the film's release date being set sometime this 2016.

Although there hasn't been any official announcements regarding "Five Nights at Freddy's" actual release date, it was posted on Datereliz that the film might be coming out sometime this year.

The source even went on to state that the rights to the video game franchise have already been acquired by Warner Bros. and that production for the film has already started back in early 2015, which is produced by Roy Lee, David Katzenberg and Seth Grahame-Smith.

However, there isn't much anything else that fans can rely on as to whether the report is accurate enough to represent the exact release date for the movie "Five Nights at Freddy's."

Despite the rumor failing to hold water, acclaimed director Gil Kenan, who was reported to be taking the helm, was reported to have gone to Twitter and post photos of what could be spoilers to the film's character designs, according to Design&Trend.

The source noted that aside from the movie's production in full swing, Gil Kenan has posted few photos that may have well dished out spoilers to its fans, which also hinted that Springtrap may be part of the film's storyline.

The source noted that the caption of the photo went on to suggest to fans that the C figure might also hint the beloved Chica character to be included in the movie.

Moreover, another photo released by the director may have teased a bit of a spoiler to fans as it hints further the possibility that Springtrap might be part of the main antagonist in the movie.
