Spice Girls Tour 2016 To Substitute Victoria Beckham? Another UK Star Eyed As Replacement?
The Spice Girls tour this 2016 might finally push through with a substitute for Victoria Beckham. In an interview with The Mirror, a UK star has made an offer to be "Posh Spice's" replacement.
English television star and model Holly Willoughby, who is best known for her work with ITV, offered to join the group of Emma Bunton, Geri Halliwell, Melanie Brown, and Melanie Chisholm just to make sure that the Spice Girls reunion tour 2016 will proceed.
"I would like to step in for Victoria Beckham if she doesn't do the Spice Girls reunion," the 34-year-old said. "I'd lip-sync."
Holly Willoughby said she already proposed the setup with one of the members of the hit 90s girl group.
"I have frequently spoken to Emma Bunton about it," she revealed.
However, "Baby Spice" supposedly told her that her looks might hinder her from being an effective substitute for Victoria Beckham.
"You can't fill in for her because you're too similar to me," Emma Bunton allegedly told her. "We are both blonde, it would not work."
However, Holly Willoughby said that she is open to adjusting for the plan to push through. "I am willing to dye my hair," she proposed.
In a recent interview with BBC Newsbeat, "Ginger Spice" Geri Halliwell revealed that the highly anticipated Spice Girls reunion tour 2016 will proceed even without Victoria Beckham.
"We will regroup, but for most of it we'll just have the four of us," she said. "It's not all concrete yet, but soon we'll announce that it's definite."
However, a source close to the wife of football star David Beckham said that the mother-of-four will try to join certain legs of the concert series.
"There are still lots of details to sort out, but Victoria's said she'll perform with the girls for some of the shows," an insider said.
