'New Girl' Trailer: Megan Fox Showers With Hannah Simone; Zooey Deschanel Goes MIA On Season 5!

"New Girl's" new girl will reportedly have a hot, shower scene with Hannah Simone on Season 5.

By now, everybody knows Zooey Deschanel has gone MIA on a few "New Girl" season 5 episodes while on maternity leave, leaving Megan Fox to stir things up on the loft.

"The first episode that they wrote for Megan revealed that my character and her character had a bit of a romantic past," said Hannah Simone, who plays Cece in the comedy series. "By the end of that first episode, they're in the shower together."

Megan Fox and Hannah Simone's shower scene would reportedly affect Schmidt, which will prompt the "Transformers" star's character to "break him out of the rut."

Meanwhile, the Jan. 26 episode of "New Girl" season 5 saw Zooey Deschanel's character, Jess, sequestered off to jury duty.

"So everybody plays their role in this little dysfunctional family on 'New Girl,'" Simone said of the episode. "The role that Jess plays becomes abundantly clear when she disappears and goes to jury duty, and we all fall apart into a heaping mass of chaos."

Now that Zooey Deschanel's character is technically and temporarily gone, it won't be long until Megan Fox's character Raegan, takes over.

In a recent interview, show runner Liz Meriweather said "New Girl" season 5 will see a lot of "growing up" on the part of the characters.

"There's been a lot of really funny stuff we've done over the years with them being incredibly immature," Meriweather told TV Guide. "But it felt like the right moment to let them take steps forward. We've been having an amazing time this season growing the characters, and it's resulted in more comedy, not less comedy."
