Rob Kardashian Gets Reality Show Sans ‘KUWTK’ Family? To Feature Girlfriend Blac Chyna?
Sock entrepreneur Rob Kardashian is reportedly looking to star in his own reality show, separate from "KUWTK," and featuring girlfriend Blac Chyna.
"We're told Rob wants a show about his life with Blac Chyna. It will chronicle their day-to-day lives, which reinforces what we've heard ... that they're going to be living together for a long time," TMZ reported.
Rob Kardashian has cut himself off from the world and, some say, including some members of his family, following his weight gain. He has been noticeably absent from the family reality show for quite some time now.
The sock entrepreneur was said to be depressed over the divorce between sister Khloe and his best friend, Lamar Odom, and also after his split from Adrienne Bailon.
"As for why Rob wants back on TV -- especially since he's lived like a hermit for 2 years -- we're told it's simply what he knows and how he makes a living," the report added.
However, as part of his contract with "KUWTK," Rob Kardashian is obligated to first pitch the reality show with girlfriend Blac Chyna to E! Network.
"We're told Kris is none too happy about Rob's new relationship, and she has a lot of power at E!" it said. "Even if the network turns thumbs down, Rob can still shop it elsewhere."
It's been widely reported that Kris Jenner is not too happy with Rob Kardashian's girlfriend. Aside from Blac Chyna's shady past (not to mention her recent arrest for public intoxication), she also has a history with Tyga and they have a child together.
Tyga, of course, is dating Kylie Jenner, Rob Kardashian's half-sister.
However, Hollywood Life alleged that Kris Jenner has warmed up to the idea about Rob Kardashian's girlfriend, Blac Chyna.
"Blac Chyna is giving him a reason to get out of bed in the morning, and if she's making him happy it's going to be hard for Kris to try and stand in the way," the alleged source said.
"He's still her baby boy and she loves all her kids equally and just wants them all to be happy."
