'Wayward Pines' Season 2 Rumors: An Mysterious Individual Will Find Himself In The Middle Of A Rebellion
The latest "Wayward Pines" season 2 rumors claims a new individual will be dealing with the rebellion that is about to happen.
Last season's finale saw Ethan Burke (Matt Dillon) sacrificing his life to stop the Abbies' bombs from exploding. While he stopped the bombings, he also knocked his out his son, Ben. At the end of the episode, Ben was seen waking up in a hopital three years later and discovers that new citizens have arrived in the mysterious town. The final scene is similar to when his father wakes up in the series' pilot, which led to speculations that it's Ben's turn to protect the town and its residents just like his father did.
Despite the rumors that the follow up will center on Ben, Variety reports that season 2 will focus on a new character who arrives in the Wayward Pines and "finds himself in the middle of a serious rebellion, as the residents battle over how to preserve the endangered human race."
There is currently no information on who this character is or how big of a role he or she will play in season 2.
