'The Voice' Season 10 Feud Between Gwen Stefani And Christina Aguilera Resolved?
Incoming "The Voice" Season 10 coaches Gwen Stefani and Christina Aguilera are among the biggest names in the entertainment industry. They used to have alternating season appearances as coaches on the popular NBC reality show and singing competition. But on the latest season, the two divas are going to appear together as mentor and coach respectively.
Reports claimed that Stefani and Aguilera have been having a long-term mutual disgust with each other. The idea of having the two on one of the biggest singing competitions in America seems risky and thrilling all the same. But according to recent reports, Stefani made an initiative to reach out to Aguilera ahead of "The Voice" Season 10.
"She [Stefani] wants to take Christina out for a fabulous dinner and she wants Blake to come along too," a source told Hollywood Life.
With hopes of establishing a healthy professional relationship with Aguilera, Stefani became eager to fix things with Aguilera and so she wanted to reach out in a sweet gesture. The singer also wanted her to know how much respect she has for Aguilera and that she had no intention of replacing her on The Voice Season 10.
The alleged feud between Stefani and Aguilera began to heat up last year throughout December after The Voice Season 9 ended. Aguilera reportedly demanded that she should be brought back to the upcoming season, but the stakes were high that she'll be called off the show since Gwen Stefani's relationship with Shelton had raked in viewership.
"[Christina] said that it was her show," a production source told Inquisitr. The source also added that Aguilera gave a 'really big spiel' about how she thinks that Stefani had been using this 'Blake thing' for her to stay on the show.
As of the moment, there are no announcements yet from the production firm of The Voice Season 10 on making it five judges.
