'Limitless' TV Show Cancelled? Bradley Cooper Disappointed At Jake McDorman?

"Limitless" has already earned quite a fan base just a few episodes after its release date. After all, just having it on TV may have already sparked interest among fans of the 2011 Bradley Cooper film from which it was based on. However, there are rumors that the TV show could be cancelled after the first season.

Will "Limitless" be a one-season TV show?

In December, it has been reported that the crime drama television series that stars Jake McDorman has gained a following. Bustle compared the CBS show to its FOX's "Minority Report."

"After three episodes, FOX trimmed Minority Report's original 13-episode order to 10," the report said. "After five episodes, CBS expanded Limitless' original order to a full 22-episode season."

"While neither show has been 'officially' renewed or cancelled by their respective networks, one is gone from the airwaves - seemingly forever - while the other will continue airing through the spring. The only question is, will Limitless still be here next fall?"

A few months before the release date of "Limitless," it has been revealed that Bradley Cooper convinced Jake McDorman to star on the TV show.

"Though McDorman, 29, and Cooper co-starred in 'American Sniper,' the Dallas native didn't believe the actor was pulling for him until Cooper cornered him at an Oscars afterparty and sold him on the part," New York Post reported in September, just a day after release date of the TV show.

"Cooper executive-produces the series and will recur as his movie character, Eddie," the report continued. "Despite his busy movie schedule, he is "very involved" in the show, even coaching McDorman on NZT's physical effects so their characters' body language is similar."

Does the possibility that the show might be cancelled make Bradley Cooper disappointed over Jake McDorman?

It may be hard to imagine, especially since many fans have been admiring Jake McDorman's performance in the TV show.

Producers of "Limitless" are yet to comment on speculations that the TV show will be cancelled. Fans on the other hand, are hoping that the release date of its second season will be announced soon.
