Tyra Banks Surprises Everyone With Birth Of Her 'Miracle' Baby Boy Via Surrogate; See Her Instagram Post!
Tyra Banks is now a mom!
The "America's Next Top Model" host recently announced via Instagram the arrival of her baby boy.
Tyra Banks had publicly opened up about her desires to have a baby over the past few years. Sadly, it's been hard for the supermodel and her boyfriend, Erik Asla.
"When I turned 40, the one thing I was not happy about is that I did not have kids," Tyra Banks said back in September. "I'm like, 'Damn, the clock is ticking!' Since I was 24, I used to say every year, 'I will have kids in three years.' I kept saying it over and over again because my business is very entrepreneurial."
"I'm not for hire, so I have to do everything. I kept trying to find that time for that to happen."
Tyra Banks also revealed that she's been trying to have a baby using different methods, like IVF.
"When you're like, 'OK, I'm just going to do it,' then it's not so easy as you get older," she explained. "I've had some not happy moments with that, very traumatic moments. It's not something that can just happen."
But this year, Tyra Banks finally got her baby wish after hiring a surrogate mother to bear her child. The model and entrepreneur shared the happy news via Instagram on Wednesday, Jan. 27.
"The best present we worked and prayed so hard for is finally here," Tyra Banks captioned an Instagram photo of an adorable baby beanie hat. "He's got my fingers and big eyes and his daddy Erik's mouth and chin."
"As we thank the angel of a woman that carried our miracle baby boy for us, we pray for everyone who struggles to reach this joyous milestone. York Banks Asla, welcome to the world."
