American Horror Story Season 6 Rumors: Plot To Take Place In The Middle Of Sea? Horrific Cruise Ship Teased
"American Horror Story" returns to television for season 6 this fall, and rumors about the anthology series have been non-stop.
As listed on Pop Sugar, two rumors among several others on the site claims that the show will be filmed at sea.
"Think about a month-long cruise to Hawaii, except it's not quite the paradise you once envisioned," explained the publication. "Through a sinister lens, you're trapped on open water with upwards of a thousand strangers. So much could go wrong if the ship lost connection to dry land."
Their other theory states that season 6 could take place on a cruise ship where everything goes wrong for its passengers.
"There are plenty of ways to make a cruise ship horrific. What if the whole crew was secretly evil? What if there was a serial killer on board? What if a crazy sea monster tried to eat everyone? No one would be able to help," the site wrote. "You'd be freaked out and you know it."
It was previously reported that the show will be set in two timelines. According to FX boss John Landgraf, season 6 would be "set in the present" but will have "echoes of the past" mixed with it.
"It's set in two time periods," he said in a statement published by TV Line, adding, "but principally in the present."
Langraf refused to divulge further details about the plot, joking that executive producer Ryan Murphy would "kill" him.
Meanwhile, reports are claiming that Chloe Sevigny might once again visit the world of "American Horror Story." Although the rumor is still unconfirmed, the "Lovelace" actress says she would love to return for season 6.
"I think so," replied that actress when Pop Sugar asked about a potential comeback. "I think I have a pretty good relationship with everybody over there, and if they ask me back, it depends on what they're doing and all that, but it's great. It's really fun. I love it."
