Coachella 2016 Lineup Announcement Published; Side Shows Declared As Well!
After the Coachella 2016 lineup announcement was made for frontrunner performers, the music festival recently declared its side shows, according to Music Times.
Before the weekend of Coachella Music & Arts Festival 2016, Courtney Barnett and Alvvays will be at The Glass House while Silver Sun Pickups and Foals will be performing at Fox Theater Pomona. Meanwhile, Bob Moses with The Black Madonna will hit in El Rey Theatre.
Also to hit the rest of the side shows are James Bay, The 1975, M83, Beach House, Miike Snow and Rancid.
From April 18 to 23, the Beach House, Miike Snow, St. Germain, Ex Hex, Grimes, Of Monsters & Men, AlunaGeorge and many others will be performing in various venues such as Beach House, Mike Snow, St. Germain, Ex Hex, Grimes, Of Monsters & Men, AlunaGeorge and many others, Jam Bands said in their post.
Meanwhile, the second weekend will be jam packed with performances from The Arcs and The Heavy at The Glass House and BadBadNotGood at The Roxy. Snakehips and Lido will also be hitting The Glass House and Parov Stelar will perform at Club Nokia.
Coachella 2016 previously had its line-up announcement with premiere headliners LCD Soundsystem, Guns N Roses, who are also reuniting for the music festival and Scottish DJ and songwriter Calvin Harris.
Despite the male frontrunner domination, this year's music festival will also see performances from women musicians, as clamors to have girl performers began last year, The Inquisiter said in a report.
Included were Halsey, Zella Day, "Chandelier" singer Sia, "Love Me Like You Do" hit maker Ellie Goulding and Meg Myers.
Other performers for Coachella 2016 are A$AP Rocky, CHVRCHES, Courtney Barnett, Ice Cube, Flume, Jack Ü, Lord Huron, Major Lazer, and Sufjan Stevens.
