Bon Jovi Announces March 2016 Release Date For New Album; 'This House Is Not For Sale' Coming Soon!

When news broke out that the band was suddenly dropped by record label Mercury after so many years they've spent working together, Bon Jovi has released "Burning Bridges" in mid-2015.

Now, Ultimate Classic Rock revealed that fans can expect the rest of the band's new album, "This House Is Not For Sale," to be released this March of 2016. 

The source also noted that Jon Bon Jovi went on to discuss that their latest record has brought the band to beginning.

"We were recording at different times and different rooms in the studio," the lead singer explained. "That's not happening anymore."

"We went back to the place where we cut 'Runaway' in 1982 - where I used to sweep the floor and fetch coffee."

He further went on to describe their new album as one having the band's integrity.

"When I wrote 'Runaway' in 1982, my viewpoint wasn't that big, but with every record and passing decade of our career, we evolve," Jon Bon Jovi detailed. "We keep our eyes open, let information in and write about the world around us."

"We really couldn't write 'You Give Love a Bad Name' now. It was great when I was 25 but not at 53. This record is about our integrity. Integrity matters and we're at a stage of our career where we don't have anything left to prove."

Last year, news broke out when the band was suddenly dropped from their long time record label Mercury Records. 

 Billboard reported that this prompted Bon Jovi them to release their recent single, "Burning Bridges," which was written and dedicated to Mercury Records and is released along with the former's latest album.

"It's the end of an era," the lead vocalist said in an interview.

"I've stayed at that label my entire life-32 years. I am the longest tenured artist on Mercury, or whatever they are called this week. But my deal was up, and that's that," he added.
