Nikki Reed Can’t Contain Jealousy Over Ian Somerhalder, Nina Dobrev’s ‘TVD’ Chemistry?
Nikki Reed and Ian Somerhalder have been married for about nine months now, yet the "Twilight" actress reportedly could not get over the chemistry that he shared with Nina Dobrev on "The Vampire Diaries."
According to the latest report from Celebrity Dirty Laundry, Reed remained jealous of her husband's history with his former girlfriend.
Fans allegedly opened old wounds once again when they shared Twitter photos, memes and GIFs of Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev's characters on "The Vampire Diaries" as they were pining for a reunion between Damon and Elena with the hashtag #WeMissDamonAndElena.
"So many fans participated in the movement that the phrase was actually trending in more than one country for over 12 hours straight. The people have definitely spoken," it reported.
The article added, "Nikki Reed has been a hot mess since marrying Ian Somerhalder, and although Nina Dobrev has moved on from Ian and The Vampire Diaries - Nikki is obviously concerned that she could lose her husband to the former CW actress."
However, there's no indication of Nina Dobrev's return to "The Vampire Diaries" after exiting the hit series last year over rumors about tension between her and ex, Ian Somerhalder.
Multiple rumors alleged that Nina Dobrev felt betrayed by Nikki Reed when she married Ian Somerhalder. Apparently, the two were friends and the "Final Girls" actress confided her boyfriend problems with the "Twilight" actress.
But Nina Dobrev insisted that her exit from "The Vampire Diaries" had nothing to do with Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed. The 27-year-old beauty was quoted as saying that she parted ways with the 37-year-old hottie in good terms.
Nevertheless, "The Vampire Diaries" is reportedly in danger of being cancelled as the CW series allegedly suffered a ratings drop after Dobrev's exit. "TVD" has since been transferred to Friday nights, which reportedly are reserved for shows on the bubble.
