Hillary Clinton Tones Bernie Sanders Critiques In New Hampshire: Vermont Congressman Leading In Iowa

Hillary Clinton tried her best not to mention the name Bernie Sanders for about an hour during the town hall meeting in Rochester, New Hampshire.

The said town hall meeting took a place a day after the senator took a hit on her chief rival for the Democratic presidential nomination in Iowa.

Clinton was very careful so as to not mention the name of the senator who hails from the neighboring Vermont although she wasn't been so back in Iowa. She did, however, make an implied point against him when she stated that the United States doesn't have much of a choice but to take the gains made under Obamacare (something Clinton made a note to Sander's plan for a "Medicare for all" system will be enough).

"Senator Sanders and I share many of the same goals, but we have different records and different ideas about how to drive progress," Clinton said during her time in Iowa College campuses. In addition, Clinton appeared to try to make Sanders look like an impractical choice for a president, according to Bloomberg.

According to Sandra Rodeffer of Durham, New Hampshire, Hillary Clinton's restraint to attack on Bernie Sanders was just fine. "I think it would be counterproductive for her to go negative," Rodeffer said. "Women really don't value attacks. That turns them off. Hillary was wise not to go after Bernie."

In other news, Sanders lead the Democratic race while Donald Trump is on the commanding lead for the Republican in the first-in-the-nation voting state, according to CNN.

Trump is on the lead followed by Senator Ted Cruz in the GOP race with 37% to 26%/ Third on the poll is Senator Marco Rubio with 14% and Ben Carson on fourth at 6%.

Meanwhile, Bernie Sanders is on the lead with 8 points against his Democratic rival Hillary Clinton with 51% and 43% respectively among Democratic presidential caucus-goers.
