Kate Gosselin's Kids Not Ok With Her Dating Again? ‘Kate Plus 8’ Stars Speak Up!

Kate Gosselin's kids seem to not be ok with her decision to start dating again. According to a report from Us Weekly, some of the TV personality's children addressed the issue on a new episode of "Kate Plus 8."

The 40-year-old single mom was set up by a friend for a blind date with a man named Vann. However, the night out was met with disapproval by some of Kate Gosselin's kids.

"She should not be dating at this age now," one of her eight children said in an episode of "Kate Plus 8."

"Do you see her? She's 40 years old!"

The TLC reality star was also dissed by one of her daughters when she picked out an old-fashioned dress for her romantic meeting.

"Let me just take a trip back to the '70s really quick in this," 15-year-old Mady joked to her mom. "Just, like, slap it on and hop in my time machine and go."

Even though Kate Gosselin's kids were hesitant, the ex-wife of Jon Gosselin still proceeded with the date. However, the encounter eventually turned out to be too "awkward" for the mother-of-eight, especially when she had to get on a helicopter while wearing a dress and high heels.

E! Online reported about Kate Gosselin meeting her blind date on "Kate Plus 8."

"A blind date is just plain awkward, any way you look at it," she said. "But the first thing I have to do on this blind date is-in heels-climb into a helicopter!"

"I mean, I don't know how you could think it's not awkward. I had to act like I do it every day!" the famous TV mom said.

Contrary to Kate Gosselin's reaction, her guy she was set up with seemed happy during their blind date.

"I don't think I had any clue of what to expect, as someone who's actually never seen the show," he said.

"She's just a really engaging person. I'm having a really great time. It's been fun!"
