Matthew Perry Sides With Courtney Cox Against Jennifer Aniston Amid 'Friends' Reunion Plans?
Even before it has been rumored that a "Friends" reunion is in the works, numerous tabloids have reported that Courtney Cox and Matthew Perry could be having a reunion of their own.
According to speculations, Matthew Perry could be dating Courtney Cox who just broke up with her fiance late last year.
Amid rumors about her purported close connection with Matthew Perry, it has been rumored that Courtney Cox may not be in good terms with another one of her "Friends" former co-stars, namely her best friend Jennifer Aniston.
Apparently, Courteney Cox wanted Jennifer Aniston to side with her when she split with McDaid.
However, instead of siding with the "Cougar Town" star, Jennifer Aniston purportedly chose to stay neutral as she and her husband Justin Theroux have also developed a close friendship with McDaid.
"Jen said some really insensitive things," a source reportedly told Life & Style, as quoted by Hollywood Life. "She told Court she was being 'difficult' with Johnny, who had wanted to work things out. It really ticked Courteney off."
The misunderstanding seems to have left a lasting damage in their friendship. In fact, Jennifer Aniston purportedly didn't invite Courteney Cox on a ski vacation in Telluride, Colorado during the holidays.
"Jen didn't invite Courteney to Telluride on purpose," the source continued. "Courteney feels incredibly betrayed by Jen. She's really hurt that her best friend hasn't been there for her."
With buzz centering on Cox and Aniston's purported feud, is Matthew Perry choosing sides between her "Friends" co-stars?
It may be highly unlikely. In fact, rumors that Courteney Cox and Matthew Perry are dating have previously been discredited by a media outlet.
"According to a source, the story is simply false," E! Online reported last month. "Still, the timing seemed almost too perfect for the faux pair that we couldn't help but wish it into reality."
Courtney Cox and Matthew Perry have played friends-turned-couple Monica Geller and Chandler Bing in "Friends." They starred in the sitcom alongside Jennifer Aniston, David Schwimmer, Lisa Kudrow, and Matt LeBlanc from 1994 to 2004.
