Microsoft Xbox One Update: New Features Announced; Includes Improved Social And Activity Tools!
Microsoft launches its first update for Xbox One for the year that includes revamped social tools for preview and beta members.
On Tuesday, the company has announced details pertaining to the first update of 2016, which is likely to bring added social features like the ability to see members in a party before joining, A new Gamerscore, Leaderboard and an improved Home screen as well as activity feed.
These updates are rolling out currently to preview members and will soon reach Windows 10 PC and Mobile Xbox Beta App users. And others will receive the update sometime next month.
Mike Ybarra, The Company's director of Program Management, wrote in a blog post, "We're focused on continuing to improve social features to help you stay connected to the Xbox Live community across console and PC while bringing these experiences closer together," cited PCMag.
As for beginners, Microsoft's Xbox one update news means that while viewing a friend's profile that's in a party, they can now be able to see who they were playing with. In that way, they could just click chat button to join in.
The most requested feature available via this update is that it can re-arrange pins on the home screen as well as gain access to it while offline.

It is also easier now to switch to a twitch broadcast. If a friend is streaming his/her game session, the broadcast will be listed in the Game Hubs section or the game title itself will be displayed.
