Girls’ Generation’s Kim Taeyeon Will Hold Her First Solo Concert In October And November At SM Town COEX Artium
Good news for SNSD's Kim Taeyeon fans! The 26-year-old artist will have her first-ever solo concert which be held at the COEX Artium of SM Town Theatre, Seoul, in October and November.
Taeyeon will take the stage on October 23 to 25 and October 30 to November 1 for her concert called, "Taeyeon's Very Special Day."
Her concert is a part of The Agit, a concert series brand of SM Entertainment, which represents Taeyeon and the rest of the Girls' Generation. The agency revealed last week that "Taeyeon's Very Special Day" will be the second concert in the concert series.
""Taeyeon′s Very Special Day" will be the second concert in SM Entertainment′s concert series The Agit and will be held at the SMTOWN COEX Artium SMTOWN Theatre from October 23-25 and October 30 to November 1 for a total of six shows," SM Entertainment announced, as noted by Mwave on September 17.
Taeyeon is considered one of the most talented artists under SM Entertainment. Aside from that, the singer and TV personality earned recognition because of various collaborations and OSTs.
Ticket reservations for her concert started on September 23.
Meanwhile, the SNSD member recently made headlines after reportedly splitting up with her boyfriend, Baek Hyun, a member of EXO band.
On the other hand, SHINee's Jonghyun will be the first SM artist to open the concert series with "The Story by Jonghyun," which is slated on October 2 to 4 and October 8 to 11. However, fans requested for additional dates after the tickets sold out right after they were made available.
SM Entertainment announces that Jonghyun will have additional concerts on October 16 to 18 to accommodate those who were not able to buy concert tickets, as reported by Allkpop on September 8. In addition, Jonghyun personally picks the songs that he will perform for his concerts.
