'Akame Ga Kill!' Remake Happening In 2016? To Feature 'Bolick Assassination Arc'?
The latest speculations for the anime series "Akame Ga Kill!" tease the possibility of a remake version of the original manga and not a new season.
The rumors suggest that the creators of the "Akame Ga Kill!" anime will improvise the whole season 1 and showcase it as a remake series.
Earlier, there were reports that the season 1 of the anime series didn't fare well in Japan, even though the manga series was widely appreciated, Akame Ga Kill Wikia reported.
However, KpopStarz reported that the creators would work on the remake of the original series after the conclusion of the manga chapters. The recent reports claim that the manga chapters have come to an end and the reboot for the anime series would be announced this year.
Moreover, the recent speculations suggest that "Akame Ga Kill!" anime remake will include the "Bolick Assassination Arc," which was not discovered much in the first season.
Further, Reddit user, Zapper, teased that the remake of the anime series would consist of around 12 episodes featuring the unexplored details from the manga chapters.
"It might be a better idea to do that than a full on reboot since the primary audience would be fans of the manga or people who want to see the canon ending," User Imagine posted on Reddit forum.
"If I had to wager on the possibility of a new AGK project happening it's not totally impossible since anime/manga with lower profits have received reboots or second seasons but we'll just have to wait and see."
Furthermore, there are rumors that the remake version of the series will showcase Wild Hunt and a combat between Akame VS Kurome. Some speculations also suggest that the season 1 finale would also be altered and shown in the new episodes.
User PMFF from Reddit speculated that in the remake the lead character of the series, Akame, will travel around the world to hunt down his enemies.
"Akame would keep travelling around the world eliminating the new Empire enemies and Run would probably be the new prime minister and Wave the general of the new army," Disqus Forum quoted.
