Grey’s Anatomy’ Season 12 Spoilers: Meredith’s Attack Done By Someone She’s Close To?

Ellen Pompeo's character Meredith Grey is reportedly going to be attacked by somebody she trusts in "Grey's Anatomy" season 12 , according to recent spoilers.

"A recently released teaser for the season showed her severely injured after being attacked. Meredith will be seen receiving some medical help. However, it was stated that Meredith's attacker is still unknown. There are speculations that the one who attacked Meredith could be someone 'she is close with,'" Christian Post reported.

The attack is said to be brutal, vicious, and completely surprising in a weird way.

Spoilers for "Grey's Anatomy" Season 12 who Meredith covered in blood. She is on the ground wearing her hospital scrubs. She later wakes up on a hospital bed with an oxygen mask over her mouth.

Caterina Scorsone, who plays Amelia Shepherd, shared on E Online, "It's more. More gruesome and terrifying. There were moments where we were like, 'What?! Oh, God!' It's a lot."

Amelia, the younger sister of Meredith's late husband, Derek Shepherd (Patrick Dempsey), did not take the horrible scene as well.

"Viewers can expect to see Amelia, take the attack really hard and blame herself even though it's not her fault. Amelia and Meredith had a fight in the mid-season finale, and Meredith kicked Amelia out of her house, which led to Amelia's relapse later on," Meltyreported.

On the other hand, Kelly McCreary, who plays Meredith's half-sister Maggie Pierce, added, "Meredith gets attacked by someone you would least expect and it is just as terrifying, shocking and harrowing as it appears," as told by Entertainment Weekly.

But based on Vine Report, Meredith is no novice when it comes to tragedies. In the past, she has managed to escape a plane crash, bomb explosions and even come out tough from the sudden death of her husband Derek Shepherd in the previous season.

However, the upcoming episodes are expected to be the worse and terrifying.

Who could be the person who attacked Meredith? The spoilers are silent on that issue but fans will find out the truth when "Grey's Anatomy" season 12 returns on Feb. 11 at 8 p.m. EST on ABC.
