Charlotte Hornets star player Jeremy Lin was the recent subject of several sports discussion and it's not even about his performance. Linsanity's outrageously tall, and some say dangerous, hair has drawn quite an audience.

In a game against the Milwaukee Bucks on Jan. 16, Lin's extremely tall mohawk hair poke Jerryd Bayless' eyes as the two players collided. The collision appears to be serious as Lin was in pain as well, according to Bleacher Report.

However, what roused the attention of both fans and analysts is how Jeremy Lin's hair nearly caused an injury to Bayless' eyes. This prompted some fans to turn to NBA commissioner Adam Silver asking him to at least issue a mandate to regulate what type of hairstyle is allowed inside the court.

While some people respect Charlotte Hornets player Jeremy Lin's right to freely express himself with his haircut, some pointed out that Linsanity must be designed it in a way that it will not present any serious harm to other players.

Accordingly, the overall safety of players should be put first before flashy haircuts.

The Bucks went on to win the night, 105-92. Leading the Bucks is Khris Middleton with 24 points and four rebounds. Greg Monroe posted a double-double figure with 19 points and 10 rebounds.

On the side of the Charlotte Hornets, Jeremy Lin finished the game with 15 points. Supporting Linsanity ae Marvin Williams who added 14 points and seven rebounds while Cody Zeller and Nicolas Batum have six points each.

The Bucks shot 54 percent on the field and outrebounded the Hornets, 46-35.

In a statement acquired by NBA.com, Middleton said about the win, "I've been in a rhythm. Coaches and the guys are letting me play with the ball in my hands more, and allow me to make plays for them. They trust me to try to make the right play for the team."
