Legendary American rock band, The Beach Boys, are set to entertain their Korean fans in March. The veteran band will hold its first concert in Korea at Conrad Seoul hotel on March 21, as per Korea Joongang Daily Monday.

"Fifty years ago, we started something very big," Brian Wilson said, as posted on The Beach Boys official website. "So now we're celebrating together in a very big way."

Meanwhile, Mike Love said it is amazing how the band started from scratch to what they are right now.

"It's pretty miraculous that we can start out as a bunch of guys who didn't know anything about fame or money, or anything like that," he said. "All we knew was we liked to sing and make harmonies together. So to have it become part of American musical culture is pretty amazing."

Before their concert in South Korea, The Beach Boys are slated to stage a series of concerts in California. In addition, tickets for their concert in Seoul are now available at Conrad Seoul.

The Beach Boys started in 1961 after brothers Brian, Carl and Dennis Wilson decided to create a rock with, along with their cousin Mike Love and friend Al Jardine. Jardine left the band in 1962 for his studies and reunited with The Beach Boys after a year.

Dennis Wilson died at the age of 39 after drowning in Marina del Rey, California Dec. 28, 1983, a few weeks after his birthday.

On the other hand, Carl Wilson died in Feb. 6, 1998 due complications of lung cancer. The late member of The Beach Boys joined the band for their 36th annual tour in 1997 despite being diagnosed with the disease.

The veteran band is now composed of Brian Wilson, Al Jardine, Mike Love and Bruce Johnston. After more than fifty years, the American rock band are still passionate to perform for and entertain their fans.
