'GTA 6' Release Date Teased By Rockstar North? Maps And Location Revealed
Could Rockstar North finally reveal the release date to the highly anticipated "GTA 6" game?
While most gamers are very satisfied with the current "Grand Theft Auto" game, many are already anticipating the next installment.
And while waiting for the official announcement, Develop Online was able to talk to Rockstar boss, Leslie Benzies, about the future of the car-heist franchise.
In the interview, Benzies revealed the company's plans of the hit game, however, he failed to reveal when "GTA 6" will hit the shelves.
"We've got about 45 years worth of ideas we want to do," Benzies revealed. "We don't know what 'GTA 6' will be, but we've got some ideas."
And while Benzies failed to provide any specific information on the game's release date, The Fuse Joplin reported that "GTA 6" will most likely arrive "between 2018 and 2020."
In line with the release date news, details about the game's possible location have also been circulating. Together with the release date news, reports also discuss the upcoming game's possible location.
Benzies revealed that "GTA 6" location could be anywhere in the US.
"It comes from the idea first," he said about the possible location. "Where is it going to be set is the first question. Then that defines the missions; you're doing different things in LA than in New York or Miami. The map and story get worked up together, and the story is a basic flow of how it works out so you can layer the missions in."
In fact, GTA 6 Grand Theft Auto website claimed that it is even possible for the entire country to part of the map.
"Rockstar is planning to inculcate the entire US map in 'Grand Theft Auto 6,' which we all know will be the successor of 'Grand Theft Auto 5,'" the website revealed. "People have a lot of expectation from GTA 6 and this can be verified by the rumors, which are hot in the market."
