Sofia Vergara's Ex Nick Loeb Using Frozen Embryos Case For Fame? Wants To Be An Actor?
Sofia Vergara's frozen embryos case versus Nick Loeb is expected to reach a verdict later this month and despite all the drama, the "Modern Family" star has enjoyed her honeymoon with her new husband, Joe Manganiello.
As for her ex, aside from running Onion Crunch, the businessman is reportedly pursuing an acting career.
According to Page Six, he was recently spotted at the Golden Globes parties, including bashes thrown by Warner Bros., Paramount, Harvey Weinstein, InStyle, Netflix and WME.
"The Onion Crunch king, who's part of Gov. Chris Christie's political-action committee, told us he's been cast in six upcoming movies, including "Precious Cargo" with Bruce Willis," the website reported.
Nick Loeb's surprising decision to try out acting left people wondering whether there is any truth to Sofia Vergara's claim a few months ago that he was only using their frozen embryos battle for self-gain.
"I don't like promoting my private life," Vergara said back in May 2015. "And I don't want to allow this person to take more advantage of my career and try to promote himself and get press for this."
As one can remember, In April last year, Vergara's ex filed a custody case in court, arguing that he wanted to have the two frozen embryos that he and his ex created, to conceive them through a surrogate mother.
"I want these children to have the best lives possible," Loeb said in an interview. "There's nothing more that I want to do than bring these children to life."
"It has nothing to do with whether it's her baby or a baby," Loeb added, saying that he offered Vergara a chance to waive all financial responsibilities over the frozen eggs. "Lives were already created. I wouldn't toss them aside."
Sofia Vergara and Nick Loeb called off their engagement in May 2014. Vergara is now married to "Magic Mike" actor, Joe Manganiello.
