Players can no longer use cheats on "Rainbow Six Siege" upon update on the latest patch 1.3. The said update brings a strict countermeasure on cheaters, Kotaku reported.

"We cannot disclose too much about the current anti-cheat solution (Fairfight), but we can confirm that we are satisfied with it," Ubisoft representative wrote, cited by Kotaku.

In a statement published by Ubisoft, the company stated that the three day ban for first offense has been removed. Thus, all cheaters detected by the system will be permanently banned.

Prior to Patch 1.3, Patch 1.2 was released first on PC on Jan. 12 followed by Xbox One and PS4 on Jan. 14. According to the patch notes, it brings fixes to hit registration, data center selection, improved matchmaking and connectivity, Tech Times  reported.

"A number of other tweaks have been implemented on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC including a fix which stops Defenders from leaving their zone during the preparation phase," Express UK wrote.

"Those who stray will now be automatically killed, with Ubisoft also confirming that the server tick rate for console users has been updated from 30 times per second to 60."

In addition, the patch updated the server tick rate for console users for hit registration fix. Exploit fix for defenders exiting while in preparation phase has been addressed too.

The "Rainbow Six Siege" live patch, "added a configuration that allows us to turn ON an insta-kill configuration for Defenders that go outside their zone during the preparation phase," Express UK also noted.

There's also a potential full fix on failed data synchronization and screen freeze, and partial fix on Error [2-0x00000041]. The detailed patch 1.2 notes can be found on Ubisoft forums.

"Rainbow Six Siege" patch 1.3 will arrive Jan. 20. Also, here are the top priority issues that the game developer aims to fix on the next patch.

Stay tuned for the full patch notes.
