'GTA 5' DLC News: Single-Player Downloadable Content In The Works? Casino DLC Contents Leaked
Fans speculate that a "GTA 5" DLC is in the works, which could feature storyline missions and single-player downloadable content.
Lead character Franklin Fonteno fueled DLC rumors on social media as he posted a picture on Instagram a few days ago.
In the photo, the actor is wearing a mo-cap suit inside the Rockstar studios, Pocket Lint
reported.
Previously, Rockstar teased fans "some very exciting" new story additions that could arrive by the end of the year. However, with the massive success of the "GTA 5 Online," Rockstar shifted its focus on the said version of the game.
"We don't know what GTA VI will be, but we've got some ideas. GTA Online is the focus right no," a Rockstar representative said.
"Plus, we have some other things--stuff, DLC, I don't know how to describe it exactly--that we'd like to do, and we'll pick the right ones."
On the other hand, fans speculated on the contents of the most talked about "GTA 5" Casino DLC. The said update will allegedly bring poker, blackjack and other mini-gambling games to both single and multiplayer players.
There are also signs that the upcoming DLC will arrive soon. For one, the Casino building on the "GTA 5" displays a banner that says "Coming Soon," Christian Post reported.
Meanwhile, the departure of Leslie Benzies, who is president of Rockstar North, also sparked rumors about the impending delay of the DLC. Leslie was behind franchise since the release of the studio "GTA 3," Express reported.
"We can confirm that Leslie Benzies went on sabbatical on September 1, 2014 and has decided not to return to work for the company," a Rockstar representative announced via Kotaku.
"We are very grateful for Leslie's contributions to Rockstar over the last 15 years as we worked together to make some amazing games.
"Grand Theft Auto 5" is currently available on PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One consoles.
