2017 Infiniti Q60 Coupe Unveiled At Detroit Auto Show; Release Date Announced!

With the teaser of the Q60 released last year, the 2017 Infiniti Q60 Coupe makes its debut at the Detroit Auto show this year.
According to initial reviews, the recast Q60 model is bolder and more focused than the car it replaces, it complements its edgier style and stronger performance with enhanced comfort touches with a full range of active and passive driver assists.
The company's president Roland Krueger believes in such a formula that will affirm the division's leadership in the premium sport coupe class, Cited Kelly Blue book.
Infiniti's first generation Coupe "Infiniti G35" rolled out in the year 2002. This third generation coupe is lower as well as wider than the outgoing model but features the same 112.2 inch wheelbase. Apart from its aggressive exterior treatment highlighted by a signature double-arch grille, the Standard 19/20 inch alloy wheels, LED lightings, there comes an impressive 0.28 coefficient of drag.
The hood on all Q60s has been specifically contoured to minimize wind resistance and vents on the front fenders optimize airflow exiting the engine bay.
As good looking as the new Q60 Coupe will be, it will have a difficult time competing with the BMW 4-series, Audi A5, Mercedes Benz C-class coupe or Cadillac ATS Coupe, cited CARSCOOPS.
The new Q60 Coupe resembles the Q50 Sedan in its revamped mechanicals that starts with powertrain choices that include 3.0 liter twin-turbo V6 that makes 300 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of peak torque.
And just like the Q50, the entry-level Q60 will be featuring the manufacturer's 2.0 liter turbocharged 4-cylinder that makes 208 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of peak twist.
The interiors have a more sophisticated melds basic design cues (similar to Q50 sedan) with unique trim and touches. There's Infiniti's Cosseting 'spinal support' seats, active noise cancellation and a new 13-speaker Bose performance series sound system with customized acoustics.
The Infiniti Coupe 2016 is expected to hit the markets later this year and more specific details on its pricing and other details will be released closer to the on-sale date.
