Hayden Panettiere made the headlines when she bravely admitted that she's been suffering from postpartum depression in October last year.

Panettiere's rep released an official statement of the actress' admission via E! News.

"Hayden Panettiere is voluntarily seeking professional help at a treatment center as she is currently battling postpartum depression," her rep claimed.

While her health condition prompted her to leave "Nashville," where she played Juliette Barnes, the 26-year-old fiancee of Vladimir Klitschko is now reportedly ready to return to the ABC show, TV Line reported.

"An ABC rep declined to comment, but sources confirm that the actress reported back to the set on Friday to begin work on Season 4's 14th episode, which is slated to air in April," the publicatione exclusively reported.

Hayden Panettiere has yet to comment on her postpartum depression recovery, however, Us Weekly reported that the actress's "Nashville" co-star Riley Smith shared an update about her condition.

"Good," Smith said of Panettiere's condition. "I texted her, and wished her well. She texted me right back and said, 'I'm awesome, thanks.' So hopefully she will be back on the set soon."

Additionally, E! Online claimed that Panettiere is definitely recovering past after she was spotted attending a red carpet event for the first time after her admission.

"It looks like she's slowly making her way back into the spotlight, as Hayden also returned to the red carpet Monday for the first time since seeking treatment," the publication reported. "Naturally, she looked amazing posing by her gargantuan fiancé's side. (Seriously, check out the height of her shoes and notice how small she still is next to him!)."

Prior to the news of her return, many fans of "Nashville" got worried that Hayden Panettiere may no longer be returning to the TV series.

Executive producer Dee Johnson immediately addressed the situation by explaning to the fans that Panettiere's exit was just temporary.

"It's not the entire season, it's just for now," Johnson told Deadline. "We've had to make adjustments, but it's not uncommon for shows to have to make such accommodations when real life intervenes."

And now that Hayden Panettiere is gearing up for her return, Paul Lee, ABC's head of entertainment division, confirmed to EW that "Nashville" will continue for a fifth season.

"We don't have any plans to finish 'Nashville," Lee assured. "The Nashville audience grows by a large amount in our delay viewings. No, at this point, no plans for Nashville other than to keep it going."

Fans will finally get to see Hayden Panettiere back in "Nashville" season 4 in April when the sho returns from its midseason break.
