"The Vampire Diaries" actor and his wife Nikki Reed were spotted stealing the spotlight in the Golden Globes 2016 red carpet as they were photographed holding hands while posing for the camera.
The "Twilight" cast member rocked a gold Naeem Khan halter gown while her beau looked dapper in his Christian Dior tux.
Meanwhile, the 27-year-old Dobrev went solo for the after party while she wore a cap-sleeved Max Azria gown featuring lace and sheer panels and a floor-sweeping train.
Perez Hilton said that though newly married couple and the former "The Vampire Diaries" cast were in one roof, the trio managed not to have an awkward encounter.
Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed also previously stole the limelight at the red carpet of InStyle and Warner Bros. bash even when Nina Dobrev is also under the same party.
The gossip blogger also noted that the actress does not need to feel sorry for her solo outing as she is dating hunky actor Austin Stowell.
After her break-up with Somerhalder in 2013, Dobrev is now dating "Whiplash" actor Austin Stowell. Her ex then married Nikki Reed early last year after dating for a couple of months.
To add to news about Ian Somerhalder stealing the spotlight with his wife, a report from the Hollywood Life said that Nina Dobrev's updo was done by renowned hairstylist Riawna Capri. The actress' hair features a lot of twists, braids, and knots that looked perfect for the brunette star. "Romantic with a twist... A lot of them," Riawna Capri said in her Instagram account.
