'Pokemon the movie XY & Z 2016' Trailer, Update: New Film To Reveal Volcanion And Zygarde Forms
An upcoming Pokemon film titled "Pokemon The Movie XY & Z" is hitting the big screens soon and everyone is looking forward to what this new project has in store for its audience.
This highly requested animated film is set to feature new kinds of Pokemons, as shown in the 28-second trailer that was released in mid December last year. Reports claimed that "Pokemon The Movie XY & Z" was first launched for the Japanese viewers and was aired via Oha Suta, a children's television show in Japan under TV Tokyo.
Not long after the teaser trailer was dropped and immediately went viral in social media and in various anime websites, several spoilers about the new Pokemon movie are also making rounds in the headlines with fans asking which of their all-time favorite Pokemons will evolve.
In the teaser trailer, a number of new Pokemons and its evolutions were featured including the new form of Zygarde and the new Pokemon Hoopa, one of the main highlights of the movie. "Pokemon The Movie XY & Z" will come into view featuring a number of legendary Pokemons including the 721st superb Pokemon Volcanion.
Volcanion is among the historical and classic Pokemons to date since the Pokemon video game was first launched in 1995 by Game Freak and Nintendo. It is the first Pokemon creature to acquire both fire and water skills that transforms into a "steam" Pokemon.
As shown in a video released by The Official Pokemon Channel, "It uses fire and water to create steam within its body, expelling explosive shock waves and boiling steam from the arms on its back."
It added, "The power is said to be great enough to blow away an entire mountain, gouging out of the earth, and changing the shape of the land."
Though the showrunners picked Pokemon Volcanion as part of the new Pokemon movie, it is not currently included in the 2014 role-playing video games "Pokemon Omega" and "Pokemon Alpha Sapphire" established by Game Freak and Nintendo.
Following the release of the teaser trailer, it was announced that "Pokemon The Movie XY & Z" will be initially released in Japan on July 16.
