Austin Mahone, Becky G Back Together? 'Shady' Messages Give Hints

Austin Mahone allegedly broke up with fellow singer Becky G recently after a few months of dating. Right after the split, the two artists fueled rumors on Twitter and Instagram that they are getting back together.

Apparently, the two exes were exchanging indirect messages about each other on social media, reports claimed.

Before the two started dating, the Austin Mahone and Becky G were close friends before taking things to the next level

Becky G spilled the details on their relationship in the Prom Issue of Seventeen after her breakup with Austin Mahone late September.

"It was really hard because we were very open about how happy we were. It was only fair for me to set the story straight after we broke up. I was with someone who was really amazing and inspiring, and everything was right about us except the timing," she said.

The "Lovin' So Hard" singer added, "We had so many dreams and aspirations before we started dating and you can't forget those. Honestly, it sucked really bad, but he's so awesome and there's no bad blood."

Fans took that interview to mean that there's hope for Austin Mahone and Becky G. to get back together.

Austin Mahone and ex-girlfriend Becky G started their "shady" tweets when the 18-year-old wrote, "Honestly I can't be mad... I may have to tip my hat."

And few hours after the tweet, Austin Mahone shared, "Don't be sad that it's over, be happy that it happened."

About half an hour after, Becky G responded to Austin, "Throwing shade like it's sunny."

Also, Becky G and Austin Mahone on the same day revealed separately in their respective social media accounts that they are sick.

Austin posted in his Instagram account a photo captioned, "I think I got a cold."

Similarly, Becky G tweeted, "This sucks."

The "Shower" singer wrote "being sick" after a fan asked her what it's about.

Despite the rumors, Becky G and Austin Mahone, however, have not given any indication that they are back together.
