Gilmore Girls Reunion Confirmed? Alleged On-Set Photos Released?
The "Gilmore Girls" reunion just might get confirmed soon, according to a report from E! Online. Alleged on-set photos have been circulating that sparked rumors that Lorelai and Rory Gilmore will be back on television after ending its seven-season run in 2012.
Lead star Lauren Graham initially fueled speculations after her vague tweet about the rumored said comeback.
"I can't confirm this, but I also can't deny this," she tweeted, alongside other cryptic posts.
Fans of the light drama series got even more excited after a Twitter user named @CaddyGlass spied on some proof showing the revival of Gilmore Girls' setting, which is a fictional small town named Stars Hollow.
According to the post, familiar props from the show were reportedly seen back at the Warner Bros. lot where Gilmore Girls was shot. The exterior of Miss Patty's dance studio, one of the known venues of the show, also seems to have been repainted. Since the post went public, rumors about the possible "Gilmore Girls" reunion were ignited even more.
However, Warner Bros. has not commented on the rumored remake. Some people have also pointed out that set believed to be part of the series is also used for other productions, such as "Pretty Little Liars" and the recently canceled "Hart of Dixie."
Variety also reported about the highly anticipated comeback for the TV show, which is rumored to consist of four 90-minute movies rather than a full series.
The hit show's creator, Amy Sherman-Palladino, initially said that nothing is definite yet.
"There's nothing in the works at the moment," she said during last summer's ATX Festival. "If it ever happened, I promise we'd do it correctly. Nobody here hates each other, which is very important."
"It would have to be the right everything, the right format, the right timing," she added. "It would have to be honored in a certain way. And if it ever came around, we would all jump in and do it."
No official confirmation from either of the two stars have been released about the rumored "Gilmore Girls" reunion.
