Frank Ocean Makes Material For New Album With Rich The Kid?

Fans awaiting for the highly anticipated new album of Frank Ocean may be in for a treat. A new development revealed that the singer and songwriter from New Orleans is in the studio and is possibly working on a collaboration with Rich The Kid.

Twitter went on overdrive when the "Whip It" rapper posted what appears to be a screenshot of him FaceTiming with Frank Ocean.

"The Atlanta rapper, producer and frequent Migos collaborator set Twitter ablaze on Wednesday night (Jan. 6) when he posted a screenshot of him and Ocean FaceTiming each other. He casually captioned the pic, "Me X Frank Ocean...smh," and later deleted the original tweet (although he's continued to retweet fans' screenshots of it throughout the day)," MTV News reported.

Frank Ocean has been keeping his fans on their toes about his new album for almost a year now. In April last year, he said that an album and a magazine titled "Boys Don't Cry" will be coming in July. But 2015 passed without any sign of the new release.

With Frank Ocean keeping himself away from the internet, the update given by Rich The Kid came as a big surprise for the former's fans.

The Atlanta-born rapper then confirmed that he and Frank Ocean are working together.

"We recording new music today," said Rich per Hot New Hip Hop. "We are in L.A. I'm here working with Wiz [Khalifa] and I called him [Frank Ocean], he's in the studio."

The update is definitely the news that fans have been waiting for. While it may take some time before Frank Ocean's new album becomes ready for release, many have already speculated that it may be out later this year or early next year.

The singer debuted his first solo album in 2012 entitled "Channel Orange." It went on to become a huge hit and has been given the Grammy Award for the Best Urban Contemporary Album in 2013, reported Music.
