Blake Shelton's girlfriend, Gwen Stefani, has always been sporting her signature red lip pout but as of late, "The Voice" coach seems to be changing her shade.

"Gwen Stefani has been rocking red lipstick pretty consistently since 'No Doubt' dropped their self-titled album back in 1992," Inquistr noted. "For those who are counting, it was their next album, 'Tragic Kingdom,' that made Gwen and her Southern California ska-punk band a household name."

It added, "Through multiple albums, a solo career, marriage and three babies, one thing didn't change with Gwen and that was her red lipstick."

Recent outings showed Gwen Stefani changing her style. During her latest gigs such as the recently concluded "The Voice" season 9, Blake Shelton's girlfriend was using nude and pink lip shades.

This has prompted many to ask whether the "softer makeover" could be inspired by her country singer-boyfriend.

But apparently, Miranda Lambert's ex-husband also loves Gwen Stefani's red lipstick.

"He's had makeup at 'The Voice' have to make sure he doesn't have lipstick marks on air because he is seen with marks backstage all the time," Hollywood Life  reported. "And he loves it, he always jokes that they are his war wounds. Like he went to battle in kissing Gwen and she won."

As Gwen Stefani exits "The Voice" with Christina Aguilera taking back her chair, Blake Shelton would not get those kisses anymore.

With the exit, the country singer previously talked to "Extra" where he asked, "Why can't we've got a 5th coach?"

"It's even more comprehensible now why Blake does not need Gwen to leave The Voice after the season finale in order that Christina Aguilera can go back to the show," according to E Buzz Boo.

"He can't spend all day, each day with his female friend and sneak in some quality time in combination backstage. He's going to pass over that red lipstick!"
