Colton Haynes Has A 'Secret Gay Past'; Actor Weighs In On Tumblr Post

A Tumblr post accused Colton Haynes of having a boyfriend in a "secret gay past" and the actor took it all in good stride.

Last Jan. 2, 2016, pornandmariah, a fan of the actor wrote, "When I found out Colton Haynes had a secret gay past i got so excited even though I know it makes absolutely no difference in my life."

The 27-year old actor had a quick 'reblog' in his official Tumblr account saying, "Was it a secret? Let's all just enjoy life & have no regrets :)."

According to Huffington Post, "The 'secret gay past' may have been a reference back in March 2006 when XY, a disbanded magazine publication, shared a photo series showing Haynes kissing another man in a pool. But there have been no confirmed reports of Colton Haynes having a boyfriend."

Colton Haynes must be used to all the gay rumors by now since it has hounded him throughout his career.

The tabloids had a field day when he locked hands with "Arrow" co-star John Barrowman, who was married. Barrowman and his husband, Scott Gill, laughed about the incident in an interview as they insisted that, "Haynes is a good friend."

As also noted in Mic, "While a number of outlets have been quick to label Haynes' pithy new Tumblr post a 'coming out' of sorts, it technically remains to be seen whether Haynes actually identifies as gay at the moment"

As his fans kept on talking about the Tumblr post, the "Teen Wolf" star still showed no confirmation about his alleged boyfriend or the "secret gay past." What's confirmed, however, is that Colton Haynes' brother, Joshua, is gay.

"Last month, Haynes opened up about being hospitalized for anxiety, and his struggles with it since childhood," Us Magazine  reported.

"For those of you who are suffering with intense anxiety... ur not alone," he wrote on Twitter. "It's been a constant struggle for me since 5th grade. It's a battle."
