Moreover, Capital FM has claimed that Coldplay intends to have Beyoncé and Rihanna perform with them on the main event.
It was mentioned that "Chris and his band know they're not typically as showy as recent performers like Katy Perry and Madonna with all the dancers and, while they love a light show, they still want to bring a few surprises out," the source noted.
"Beyonce and Rihanna are both keen to join in the high-profile ceremony and will add just the spark needed to make it an amazing and unforgettable show," it added.
Moreover, it was reported that the organizers of the NFL Super Bowl 2016 halftime show want sports fans to be included in the event as well by picking out 500 lucky fans to participate as crew members and assist to run the stage onto the field and accomplish other tasks and duties as well, according to CBS San Francisco.
According to Fortune, CBS Network was able to get the rights to broadcast NFL Super Bowl 2016 and its halftime show on TV and live stream, with Jim Nantz, Phil Simms and Tracy Wolfson calling the game.
