'Digimon Adventure Tri: Determination' To Get Special Live Stream Via Nico Nico

The long awaited "Digimon Adventure" sequel finally premiered last November, with fans outside of Japan almost immediately becoming able to view the series with subtitles in their own language.

This is probably only impressive to those of us who remember the days where only the English dub existed and it was limited to when you could catch it on TV.

Nevertheless, the official "Digimon Adventure Tri" twitter account announced that will be a second live stream event for the next part in the series, "Determination." The live stream event will take place on Jan. 15 via Japanese streaming sight Nico Nico.

Though it was not specified exactly what the Nico Nico live stream will entail other than New Year celebrations, perhaps those involved will get a few tidbits about the upcoming "Digimon Adventure Tri: Determination" film. If not, fans will have to wait until March 12 for the premiere of the new episodes. 

“Digimon Adventure Tri: Determination” is the second part of the brand new “Digimon Adventure” series that was created partially in celebration of the 15-year anniversary since it was first released. The first part of the six-part film series entitled “Reunion” premiered last fall on Nov. 2. The new film, which was ultimately split into four episodes, follows the digi-destined children again, this time when they’re in high school.
