Will Charlie Puth, Meghan Trainor Kiss Again In Future Stages? Singers Seeing Other People
Charlie Puth and Meghan Trainor's kiss during the American Music Awards was one of the most memorable moments in the music industry for 2015.
However, the pair was quick to deny the dating talk that erupted after their "Marvin Gaye" performance.
Both singers used social media to deny any romantic relationship between them, worried that people might get the wrong idea.
Nevertheless, fans of the two singers liked their chemistry enough to want them to start dating each other for real.
However, Puth clarified to USA Today that he didn't want people to misunderstand his actions because he was actually with another girl.
"I have a girl kind of in my life right now that I'm not making too public and I don't want people to get the wrong idea," he told the Magazine.
Seventeen Magazine speculated that it could be "Pitch Perfect 2" actress Hailee Steinfeld. They also seemed to be flirting online, as well as looking extremely close on Instagram. She was quick to deny the rumors, however, telling Entertainment Tonight that they're just pals.
Nevertheless, Charlie Puth was still thankful to Meghan Trainor, despite the spectacle brought on by the kiss, for giving him that "initial push."
"Meghan really helped me by being featured on my first record ['Marvin Gaye']," he added.
Meanwhile, Trainor was recently linked to basketball player DeAndre Jordan.
According to TMZ, the alleged couple was spotted having dinner at the Los Angeles restaurant, Nice Guy. They also left in the same car.
The "Lips Are Moving" singer and the athlete were seen talking outside the celeb hot spot in West Hollywood on Saturday before they rode off in the latter's car.
Based on their insistent denial of any kind of relationship it looks like fans won't be seeing Charlie Puth and Meghan Trainor's kiss on stage anytime soon again. Shippers will just have to watch the "Marvin Gaye" music video to see them lock lips once more.
