So what series are people most looking forward to?

According to the Anime News Network reader poll, this winter is all about Korosensei in "Assassination Classroom" season two. In fact, it would appear that anime fans are mostly looking forward to the return of popular series with "Durarara x2 Ketsu" and "Snow with the Red Hair" season two rounding off the top three spots in the poll.

The most anticipated new series that will premiere in January appear to be "Ajin" and "Boku Dake Ga Inai Machi" or "ERASED." "Ajin" adapts the popular manga series by Gamon Sakurai and took the fifth place spot in the ANN poll. Meanwhile, the "ERASED" anime is adaptation of the manga series by Kei Sanbe, which was nominated for a Tezuka Osamu Cultural Prize 'Reader Award' in 2014.

Overall, this winter 2016 anime season looks as exciting as most previous seasons with a good balance of old and new series to pour over.
