'Arrow' Season 4 Spoilers: Oliver Queen's Bloodlust Is Back? Check Mid-Season Premiere Synopsis

Oliver Queen made a promise that he will walk away from being blood-thirsty when his bestfriend Tom died in the first season. However, he might break that vow. Recent "Arrow" season 4 spoilers hint Starling City's Emerald Archer will go on a rampage after what happened to his fiancee in the mid-season finale.

The show will pick up shortly from where it left off in the last episode that aired on Dec. 9. In an attempt to stop Oliver from running as mayor, Damien Darhk crashed his thanksgiving party. But he did not stop there. He also ordered his men to ambush Oliver's car which also carries Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) who suffered fatal gun wounds.

Many followers of the show also think the computer genius died from the attack. However, earlier reports indicate Felicity somehow survived the shooting. First is the fact that the grave scene in the first episode says it took place six months after the current events. The ambush took place during Christmas season.

Executive producer Wendy Mericle also once said they have consequences prepared for Olicity by mid-season.

"I can't tell you exactly how that's going to happen," she told Comicbook.com in early December.

"But...obviously for the arc of Oliver and Felicity's relationship this season, the fact that he's keeping this from her-true to what we've done on the show, if there's a secret somewhere, it's going to come out and it's going to have some serious consequences."

What could those be? Mericle refuses to give any more "Arrow" season 4 spoilers but she, too, is excited about it.

"We're really excited about how that's going to change things and it's really going to raise the stakes and throw some wrenches into the works of their relationship - which so far this season has been pretty smooth sailing," she said when asked for more "Arrow" season 4 spoilers.

"True to form, we're going to really mine that. There'll be some fallout for both of them."

"Arrow" season 4 episode 10 will air on Jan. 20.
