Microsoft New 'Selfie' App Unveiled; Features Explained As Made Available In iPhone!

Microsoft has launched its new selfie app for iPhones and has been announced to be using machine learning technology to improve selfies.

As known to the public, taking selfies has become a big trend, There is a focus on apps that focuses on narcissism like Facebook and Instragram. There are accessories to click selfies (like a selfie stick), some of the key aspects of taking the perfect selfie involving the right lighting environment, right angle and 13 other filter options.

With the thought of the fact that most of the public cannot afford an assistant to help in doing their own makeup or set up the perfect lighting or expensive graphics to take a perfect click, Microsoft's new Selfie App has come into existence.

The app includes a 3D touch function for taking that 'Perfect Selfie'. Developed by the Garage team and designed for iPhones, it is one of the company's latest attempts to use its intelligent processing software in consumer products. The Garage team is also making other programs like Mouse without borders and Outlook addon FindTIme. The selfie app acquires the work out of making your picture look great with editing effects like Noise reduction and exposure. Currently the Microsoft Selfie app is available for iOS platform alone. But it is probably based on Lumia Selfie which is no more available for Windows smartphones.

Microsoft's Selfie app is like a Microsoft's version of Instagram. While taking a selfie, one can choose from a broad range of filters which Microsoft says takes into account age, skiin tone, lighting conditions and other variable features that makes it acceptable.

"It takes age, skin tone, lighting, gender and many other variables into account," Microsoft released in a statement, as cited by Dailymail. "It applies different models automatically and enhances it with just one click." 

The Microsoft Selfie app is available to download for free from the Apple Inc's App store for all its devices such as iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch.
