South Korean Actor Lee Hyun Woo To Release Digital Single In Collaboration With Geeks’ Louie
Actor Lee Hyun Woo is set to release a digital single which he made in collaboration with Louie of hip-hop duo Geeks. Korea Joongang Daily reported Thursday that the South Korean actor will release his digital single this month.
Keyeast Entertainment revealed Wednesday that Lee is an avid fan of Louie, hence, the actor suggested the collaboration.
Geeks' Louie and Lil Boi released their first mini-album entitled "Officially Missing You" in 2011. The hip-hop duo topped Cyworld's daily music chart on the same year with their remake of Tamia's "Officially Missing You." Aside from that, Geeks were awarded with "Rookie of the Month" in May 2011 for the Cyworld Digital Music Awards.
Yahoo! Celebrity noted Wednesday that the 22-year-old South Korean actor has showed enthusiasm in working for the single despite his busy schedule. Reports have revealed that Lee is not only interested in acting, but also in music.
Lee sang "Ode to Youth" in 2013, which is the official sound track of the movie entitled "Secretly, Greatly." He was also featured, along with Bromance, in O Broject's song "It's a Lie" in 2015.
The actor has also participated in a number of activities that showcased his passion in music. In 2012, Lee performed an MC's special stage in SBS "Inkigayo" where he displayed his skills in rapping.
The actor has appeared in several drama series including "King Sejong the Great," "Man from the Equator," "To the Beautiful You," and "Master of Study." Currently, he is busy filming television drama "Moorim School" where he plays as the main character, Yoon Siwoo. The drama series is slated to be aired on January 11 on KBS2.
Lee has also appeared in films "The Loneliness of Butcher Boy," "Secretly Greatly," "The Con Artists" and "The Beauty Inside."
