'Attack On Titan' Season 2 Preview Allegedly Leaked Online [VIDEO]
2016 has finally arrived, and while there's plenty of anime to look forward to, perhaps no series more anticipated than "Attack on Titan" season two.
Despite the rumors, there is no official "Attack on Titan" season two release date yet.
There is however a video circulating forums and now YouTube that is an alleged preview of "Attack on Titan" season two. If you're not wanting to be spoiled, you should probably not watch the video, but it is available to view below for those who are curious.
Though fans were offered many different "Attack on Titan" related media this year, the season two release date remained one of the biggest discussions among fans. Nevertheless, 2015 marked the release of the "Attack on Titan" live action movies and TV shows, manga volumes 16 and 17, and the spinoff anime series "Attack on Titan: Junior High."
All of these releases added up to "Attack on Titan" being the highest selling media franchise of 2015, beating out notably popular series "One Piece" and "Mobile Suit Gundam." According to Anime News Network, the total sales amounted to 7,308,359,519 Yen (about 60.8 million U.S. dollars).
The alleged "Attack on Titan" season two video has surfaced a few times since November, which calls into question if it is indeed a "leaked preview," or if it is footage that was released in Japan on an "Attack on Titan" home video release.
Wherever the video comes from, there won't be any confirmation until sometime later this year when "Attack on Titan" season two finally begins airing. No official month or day has been confirmed, but given that animation production is being handled by Wit Studio, it will likely come after the April debut of the studio's other project "Kabeneri of the Iron Fortress."
Whether the alleged "Attack on Titan" preview is real or not, at least fans can believe that the wait for "Attack on Titan" season two has decreased from years to months.
