The Legend Of Zelda Wii U Rumors: Release Date On Spring Of 2016?
Although Nintendo has not yet confirmed the rumors surrounding the upcoming "The Legend of Zelda" Wii U game, reports suggest that it will be released in spring of 2016.
As reported by Gamer Professionals, Nintendo is preparing for a big announcement. According to the site, the company has already "created a promotional video for the upcoming title for the Wii U, which is meant to impact parents for a "big event."
The supposed promotional video has not been confirmed at the moment, but it was noted to have been published online and was secured by a password. The video was posted under the name of John Richard. The site added that the video was entitled "First Draft," which may mean that the promotional material is on its way and will be unveiled to the public shortly.
Nintendo has previously stated that the company will not launch a new Zelda game until 2015, however, a YouTube video surfaced showing the game's producer explaining that the release date of "The Legend of Zelda" Wii U will be push though 2016, according to IGN.
On the other hand, it seems that Nintendo has been having a hard time competing with Xbox One and PS4. Thus, the company may opt for a release of Nintendo NX on the E3 2016 in Los Angeles. If this will happen, the Wii U version of the Zelda game may no longer be available in the gameplay.
However, Eiji Aonuma, "The Legend of Zelda" series producer, recently shared that he has not given up on the Wii U version, reported Master Herald. Additionally, Aonuma denied the rumors that The Legend of Zelda: Triforce was the cause of Wii U version's delay.
"Each game has a different development team," the series producer explained.
As of the moment, fans of the series are waiting for the official updates from Nintendo regarding "The Legend of Zelda" Wii U release date.
