A 41-year-old South Korean woman was found dead at the Frankfurt Hotel InterContinental on December 5. Korea Joongang Daily reported Saturday that the woman has undergone exorcism allegedly performed by her own family.

Five of the victim's relatives were arrested Thursday, including her two sons and daughter, for alleged murder. Reports have revealed that the woman's body was found by the police authorities tied to a bed in a guest room of the said hotel.

According to the prosecutors, the woman died after she was beaten repeatedly as the alleged suspects try to rid her body from demons. The woman was allegedly choked to death as her mouth was suppressed with a towel.

Further reports have revealed that a Catholic priest informed the German police regarding the incident.

"I've never come across anything like it," prosecutor Nadja Niesen said.

She maintains that the victim suffered from "pain and agony" for a couple of hours and branded the acts as "motivated by a callous and merciless attitude."

"When he saw what had happened he notified the reception, and they called police," Niesen adds, as noted by Yahoo! News Thursday.

Niesen added that the alleged suspects include the woman's 21-year-old and 15-year-old sons, 19-year-old daughter, 44-year-old relative and another 15-year-old boy.

"They all belonged to one big family. They came to Germany from South Korea six weeks ago and had rented a house in Sulzbach, but didn't stay there much," she said.

"The woman eventually died from asphyxiation as a result of the massive chest compression and violence to her neck."

On the other hand, Niesen said a 41-year-old woman was found in the garage of the house rented by the family. The prosecutor said the woman suffered from hypothermia and dehydration and was rushed to the hospital.

"It's not clear exactly what happened to her, we are still investigating that," she said.
