Jay Park drops his highly anticipated single "Remedy" on July 18, 2025, featuring acclaimed actress Chun Woo-hee in a cinematic noir-style music video that's already creating major buzz.

The collaboration between Jay Park and Chun Woo-hee began with a viral moment at the 3rd Blue Dragon Series Awards in 2024. During Jay Park's performance medley that included "GANADARA," "All I Wanna Do," "Taxi Blurr," and "Mommae," he approached Chun Woo-hee in the audience during "All I Wanna Do." The actress responded with an adorably shy reaction, covering her face and dancing along, creating a memorable moment that went viral with over 4 million views on YouTube.

Jay Park released a cinematic poster on July 10 featuring himself and Chun Woo-hee standing back-to-back, with Jay Park holding a gun and both covered in scratches and blood, styled like a movie poster. The dramatic imagery hints at a dark, emotionally complex storyline.

The poster features the cryptic English text "Dearly Departed It Seems Like It Just Started," combined with striking visuals reminiscent of a noir film scene. This aesthetic choice represents a bold departure from typical K-pop music video concepts.

Jay Park will host a music video preview event on July 17 at 8 PM KST, giving fans an exclusive first look at "Remedy" before its official release. The single drops on July 18 at 6 PM KST across major streaming platforms, confirmed by his label More Vision.

"Remedy" follows Jay Park's previous release "Keep It Sexy (MOMMAE 2)" featuring Jeon Somi, which was released on May 23, 2025, to commemorate the 10th anniversary of his hit "MOMMAE." The timing places "Remedy" about two months after his last single.

The track is produced by Brian Lee, an acclaimed American songwriter who has co-written hits including "Havana" by Camila Cabello, "Let Me Love You" by DJ Snake and Justin Bieber, and "Goodbyes" by Post Malone. Lee's involvement brings international-level production quality to the project.

Chun Woo-hee, known for critically acclaimed films like "Han Gong-ju" and "The Wailing," as well as recent Netflix series "The 8 Show," marks her first music video appearance. The collaboration bridges Korean cinema and music industries in an unprecedented way.

The trailer released on July 11 shows both stars "trapped in a surreal, isolated space" with "empty stares and scarred faces" creating "an eerie tension" that hints at a dark emotional narrative.

The release strategically coincides with Jay Park's ongoing "SERENADES & BODY ROLLS" world tour, which kicked off in Seoul on May 24-25, 2025, and continues through Asia and Oceania.

"Remedy" represents Jay Park's continued evolution as an artist, combining cinematic storytelling with his signature musical style while introducing Korean audiences to a new level of music video artistry through his collaboration with one of the country's most respected actresses.
